How does receipt and bill scanning work?
Upload a PDF or photo and Fastbooks uses AI to read the vendor, invoice number, dates, line items and tax. It suggests an expense account for each line and saves the bill as a draft for you to review.
What happens if the scanner gets something wrong?
Edit the draft inline, or rescan with a note explaining what was wrong. You can rescan a single bill or every draft from the same vendor.
Can Fastbooks catch duplicate bills?
Yes. Bills that share a vendor’s invoice number are flagged so each one is only booked once.
Can I import bills from Google Drive?
Yes. Connect a Google Drive folder and Fastbooks pulls in supplier bills automatically, ready for review.
Can I export my expenses for my accountant?
